Environmental Chemist or Geologist

SmartData Solutions® captures thousands of sample points in a matter of days, converts them into highly informative 3D images, and allows collaborative online review by project participants regardless of location.
Position Duties
We are currently seeking geologists and chemists with a high degree of individual responsibility to participate in this growing segment of the environmental industry. Work will include (1) travel throughout the U.S. and occasionally overseas (2) collection of geochemical data at environmentally contaminated sites using direct sensing analytical instruments (3) data entry and reporting via the Internet using spreadsheets, databases, GIS and web tools; (2) maintenance and operation of truck, trailer, laboratory, and computer equipment.
Position Requirements
The successful candidate will possess good communication skills, be able to work independently in a fast paced environment, and demonstrate an ability to learn as well as problem solve. Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university with a minimum of 2-4 years of related experience and/or training. A strong academic background in mathematics and environmental chemistry or geology is required. Technical Skills required include: good equipment maintenance and troubleshooting combined with versatile computer and Internet skills. U.S. citizenship required.
Salary & Benefits
Experienced candidates can expect $40K-$60K annually in salary and other compensation. Benefits include subsidized medical insurance, dental, and life insurance.
