Columbia Technologies announces MIP/LIF-101 web seminars
Starting July 1, Columbia Technologies will offer a series of free professional-development web seminars entitled “MIP/LIF – 101”. Led by Columbia’s experienced technical team, these short online courses will familiarize participants with the Membrane Interface Probe and Laser-Induced Fluorescence tools such as UVOST, from the basics to the technical details, with an emphasis on choosing the right tool for the job.
Five different dates and times are available for MIP/LIF 101:

David Heicher, CWD is a Hydrogeologist with 14 years of experience in the environmental industry and extensive field experience relating to remediation and assessments including site characterizations using direct sensing and cone penetrometer technology, contaminant fate and transport, technical evaluation of remediation technologies, and geophysical and underground storage tank investigations. David holds a BA in Geology from the College of Charleston and is a Certified Well Driller.

Charles Guenter has been hired as a Field Geo Chemist. Gunther's experiences include surface and groundwater sampling using a variety of methods including CMT wells. COLUMBIA'S services go global with new awards.
During the past six months COLUMBIA has been awarded several projects of note including work in New Zealand which began in early February.
