How it works. First, data is collected using direct sensing technology (either Membrane Interface Probe or Laser-Induced Fluorescence or a combination of both). The data is then processed using SmartData Solutions.® This integrated approach provides high-resolution, 3 D color images of the location, depth, composition, and extent of hydrocarbon and chlorinated solvent plumes within hours -- and up to 50% lower cost than traditional methods. As the site investigation evolves throughout the day, you receive this essential data, via a secure Web site, in near real time.
