During your time with us, you will travel to engage directly with a variety of clients and stakeholders, to better understand the impact of underground chemical pollution on facilities and communities.  You will be responsible for the maintenance and operation of a vehicle, analytical testing, and computer equipment.  Your daily activities will require a good understanding and integration of geology, chemistry, biology, information, and mechanical systems.

The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering from a four-year college or university.
  • Strong academic background in mathematics and environmental chemistry or geology.
  • THIS IS A TRAVEL POSITION.  You will work from your home and travel to destinations in the U.S. and internationally.

The ideal candidate will have good writing and communication skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and experience with equipment operation and maintenance.  This is an opportunity for unique individuals to step into a highly visible position at the forefront of high-resolution remedial site characterization and monitoring.  You will need to be a quick learner, highly organized, have a “can-do” attitude, and be able to work independently right from the start, although intensive training will be provided over a short time period.

Competitive candidates for the Senior Level position should have a minimum of 2-4 years of related field experience.  Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in environmental consulting,  direct sensing (MIP/LIF/OIP/HPT/CPT), and Geoprobe operation. Experience in drilling and other sampling methods would be beneficial.  Fluent in Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
